Forum Terms of service

Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Respect is earned not given.
  2. Be in class on time. If you are late, the teacher has the right to forbid you from coming.
  3. Never be absent. Attend all classes. There are no marks for attendance but there are marks for participation. So, if you are not in class you lose the participation for that day.
  4. Never be late with medical excuses;they will not be accepted after a week from the day you were absent. Of course, medical reports should be convincing.
  5. Medical reports should inform the day, number of days, date Hijri & Gregorian you were absent on.
  6. Hand in your medical excuses in class or scan it and post it in . Do not come to your teacher for medical excuses.
  7. The more absent you are, the more you get a ban, even with medical excuses.
  8. You are responsible for your own absence. You need to hold a record of the days of your absence. Do not ask your teacher about how many hours you have been absent.
  9. Hand in your papers, excuses, assignments…etc. yourself. Your own assignments, exam papers are to be handed to you, not anybody else.
  10. Attend all exams. No make-up exams allowed.
  11. No foods, drinks or gum. Water is OK.
  12. No talking or chatting.
  13. Sunglasses are not allowed inside the classroom.
  14. Revision and participation are important.
  15. Homework assignments should be submitted on time. Otherwise, do not bring them at all!
  16. Come during office hours. Do not show up during the break-time.
  17. Check your teachers’ schedules, office hours, and off-days. You will find your teachers’ schedules hung on the office door or the walls.
  18. Ask your teacher about her own subjects. Do not ask her about other teachers’ subjects.
  19. The academic process is designed to develop the student’s intellect, personality and responsibility.
  20. PM's should be written in either Standard/Formal Arabic OR English; not both!
  21. Your work (exam papers, assignments…etc) reflect everything about you. So take extra care of what you give your teacher. It is part of your responsibility evaluation, and your identity as well.
